Flight Numbers

Speed: 4    Glide: 3    Turn: 0    Fade: 3

The Westside Discs Harp won the PDGA World Championships in 2016 & 2017... Ok maybe not alone. However, it did play a crucial role in Ricky Wysocki’s bag during his time with Trilogy Discs (Latitude 64, Westside Discs and Dynamic Discs), including those 2 World Championship winning runs. Whether it was getting out of a tight spot in the woods or just needing to put it close for an easy putt, the Westside Discs Harp was a go-to for him.
Today the “Sockibomb” is well know for using the Innova Pro Pig as his utility and upshot disc. But, rumor has it, when his 4 year stint with Trilogy was over. He had a tough time finding a replacement for his trusted Harp. Wysocki has notably been one of the best scramblers in the world throughout his career. His ability to get up and down from anywhere on the course is virtually unmatched.  It is no secret that the Harp was an extremely useful tool in the Champ's bag.
The Harp has a small beaded, super flat top and deep rim making it very comfortable in the hand for hands of any size. It is very similar to the Discraft Zone in both flight and feel. Trilogy throwers will equate the Harp to a Verdict with less glide and maybe a touch more overstable.

Plastics

An Instagram post from Westside at the beginning of January noted the molds and plastics that will be prioritized for the 2021 year. The Harp specifically will be prioritized in the following plastics: VIP, Origio, Origio Burst, BT Soft, BT Medium and BT Hard.

Uses

Backhand or Forehand: It has a deep but thin rim like a putter but has the speed of a midrange. Making it a go-to for backhand and forehand throwers alike.
Flex Shots: When you need that “S” line in the woods that quickly fights out of the anny, look no further.
Upshots: The low glide and overstability of the Harp make it great for pin seeking. RHBH throws can aim right of the basket, trust the fade and know it that if they rip on the disc it won’t overshoot the target by much.
Fighting the Wind: You can throw this disc in the wind with confidence knowing that it won’t turnover.
